The Mark II has all the same features and functionality of the Mark I model, but adds a polymer hook for fast clip action and silent operation.

Specifically developed for police and military special operations units, the CQD®Weapon Catch provides weapon security and retention while maintaining immediate access. The Mark II secures rifles, shotguns, submachine guns, tear gas launchers, non-lethal weapons, manual entry tools and other special-use weapons.

The CQD® Weapons Catch is used in two basic methods:
(1) Quick catch – used for moderate physical activity or the necessity of a quick response.
(2) Retention catch – used for intense physical activity or when total retention is necessary.
