The 5.11 Back-up Belt System™ is a unique system which provides secure storage of gear in many compatible garments made by 5.11 Tactical Series®. The Back-up Belt System Kit includes five pouches specifically designed to secure police gear, including an adjustable handgun holster, a hand cuff case, a case for an expandable baton, a case for a flashlight or mace canister, and a double pistol magazine pouch. Each pouch has a hook-side Velcro® backing which secures to the loop-side Velcro® backing found in many 5.11 Tactical Series® garments including jackets, TDU’s, uniform pants, and vests. This unique system can be adjusted to fit in an unlimited number of positions and angles for quick access to necessary gear. Each pouch of the Back-up Belt System™ Kit is made of high quality nylon. The backing of the pouches includes a stiffener that helps to keep heavier gear secure even during vigorous activities. Prym Snaps are used for the holster snaps to keep your handgun where you want it when you need it. Tthe TPS Staff has found yet another versatile use for the pouches included in this kit. We all use the assorted pouches to organize items within easy reach in our vehicles. Automobile upholstery is often very similar to the "Loop" side of Velcro®, which these pouches work very well with.
